On January 21, local time, the 20th China Textile and Apparel Trade Fair (New York), Texworld USA and Apparel Sourcing USA (hereinafter referred to as "New York") were held in the United States. The Javits Convention Center in New York was successfully opened.
 
The exhibition is hosted by China National Textile and Apparel Council, and jointly organized by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Textile Industry Branch and Messe Frankfurt (USA). The exhibition scale of this exhibition exceeded 10,000 square meters, and more than 300 companies from 15 countries and regions participated in the exhibition. Among them, the scale of the Chinese pavilion ranked first. In addition, it is worth mentioning that Turkey, Mauritius, Nepal and Sri Lanka have organized national pavilions to appear on the only international procurement platform in New York. Nearly half of the old companies in the Chinese pavilion participated in the exhibition.
 
The exhibition is an important platform to release industry development trend signals and predict future fashion trends. This exhibition focuses on sustainable development and environmental protection topics, "social responsibility" has become the key word of this exhibition, and the construction of sustainable supply chain of enterprises has become an important advocacy of this exhibition. Through the promotion of "Sustainable Textile Initiative Family" (STIF), on-site knowledge sharing, online consulting services, etc., the concept of social responsibility and sustainable development is integrated into international trade through international exhibitions, so as to contribute to the sustainable development of Chinese enterprises. Provide support for transformation, and at the same time spread the social responsibility experience and practice of Chinese manufacturing and Chinese brands overseas.
Access to the Sustainable Textile Initiative Family (“Sustainable Textile Initiative Family, STIF”) requires the following:
The raw materials used by the enterprise, the production methods adopted, or the products produced have obtained one or more sustainable (including social, environmental, management system, etc.) certifications, or
The company follows the highly recognized social responsibility code of conduct in international trade, and is in line with the China National Textile and Apparel Council's strategic advocacy direction for corporate social responsibility and sustainable development.
Enterprises that obtain the STIF logo receive the following benefits:
Use the STIF logo on international booths and in corporate presentations and product brochures;
Selected into the STIF logo enterprise manual, and obtain the rights and interests of accurate business promotion before, during and after the exhibition;
STIF companies can conduct corporate publicity in the social responsibility area, and outstanding corporate representatives can get the right to speak;
Priority can be given to applying to become an executive enterprise of China Textile and Apparel Corporate Social Responsibility Management System (CSC9000T).
 
At the exhibition site, Yan Yan, director of the Social Responsibility Office of China National Textile and Apparel Council, gave a keynote speech on "Sustainable Development Practice of China's Textile and Apparel Industry". Director Yan Yan introduced the functional attributes of China National Textile and Apparel Council and the Social Responsibility Office of China National Textile and Apparel Council, analyzed the development of China's textile industry and the export of China's textile and apparel, and expounded the intentional exploration of sustainable development of China's textile and apparel industry.
