From business to responsibility: the perfect presentation of CTAF/APP Paris 2018

On September 20, 2018, the 20th China Textile and Apparel Trade Fair (Paris) and Paris International Apparel and Apparel Sourcing Fair (CTAF/APPParis) (referred to as "Autumn Paris Fair") came to a successful conclusion.



This autumn Paris exhibition is hosted by China National Textile and Apparel Council, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Textile Industry Branch (hereinafter referred to as the Textile Council for the Promotion of International Trade), and Messe Frankfurt (France) Co., Ltd. , India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and other 17 countries and regions, more than 600 exhibitors, of which more than 500 exhibitors from the Chinese pavilion.
In response to the new positioning of China's textile industry in terms of technology, fashion and green, the Social Responsibility Office of China National Textile and Apparel Council (hereinafter referred to as the Social Responsibility Office) cooperated with the Textile Council for the Promotion of International Trade. Relying on this exhibition, the concept of social responsibility and sustainable development was integrated into Going to the important trade platform of the international exhibition, the theme of this exhibition "From Workshop to Shop: Sustainability & Lifestyle" was highlighted and interpreted, and the social responsibility experience and practice of Chinese manufacturing and Chinese brands were vividly spread.




At the press conference of the exhibition, Secretary-General Zhang Tao of the Textile Council and Director Yan Yan of the Social Responsibility Office jointly introduced the presentation and significance of the integration of social responsibility and sustainable development in this exhibition.

The construction of enterprise sustainable supply chain has become an important advocacy of this exhibition. The exhibition is an important platform to release industry development trend signals and predict future fashion trends. "Social responsibility" has become the key word of this exhibition. In 2018, the Social Responsibility Office and the Textile Council for the Promotion of International Trade established a social responsibility working group to select the "responsible leaders" of this exhibition from more than 500 exhibitors. Co., Ltd. and other 51 enterprises became the first batch of enterprises to obtain the STIF logo. This means that these 51 companies have excellent performance in social responsibility management system, responsible raw material procurement, environmentally friendly production, organic raw materials or products, etc. The organizer of the exhibition provides STIF with improved recognition and more targeted docking services. Identify business links to more business opportunities.

The STIF corporate logo has become a hot spot in the exhibition, and international buyers, research institutions, and media have expressed concern. Many concerned people from home and abroad said: "It is very necessary to spread the social responsibility practice of Chinese manufacturing and Chinese brands, which will help In order to correctly understand the real situation of China's textile and garment industry and establish a responsible international image."
