| 2024 China Textile Intangible Cultural Heritage Innovation Exhibition is launched |

On 14 August, the 2024 China Textile Intangible Cultural Heritage Innovation Expo—“Time Flies, Creativity Endures”—made its debut at Hall 5.1, Stand G82 of Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles Autumn/Winter 2024. From the moment doors opened, a steady stream of visitors turned the space into the fair’s must-see “influencer” hotspot.
Organised by the ICH Office of China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC), China Home Textile Association (CHTA), China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Sub-Council for the Textile Industry (CCPIT-TEX) and Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the exhibition also benefited from the active involvement of the Burberry Foundation’s “Craft Designer” training programme and the strong support of China Textile magazine.
The success of both the Expo and the concurrent 2024 CNTAC ICH Shanghai Forum is set to spark even greater passion for textile heritage. By aligning every link of the value chain, it paves the way for China’s textile ICH to stride forward—where tradition meets modernity, culture embraces fashion, craftsmanship joins technology, and industry converges with the market.
