Young Engineers Discuss Textile Innovation
Time:2024-06-26 13:11:53    Source:Website

Recently, as part of the 2024 Keqiao District Talent and Science & Technology Innovation Week, the 2024 Keqiao Textile Future Young Engineers Exchange Conference, themed “Youth Innovation Takes Off, Weaving Dreams for the Future,” was held at the China Light Textile City Cross-Border E-commerce Industrial Park. Government officials and corporate engineer representatives gathered to discuss the construction of the “three teams” and the empowerment of new-quality productive forces through talent development, sharing insights and strategies on textile industry talent cultivation and technological innovation.

These innovative industry exchanges, which take place periodically, address both corporate technical challenges and the sharing of cutting-edge production processes and successful experiences, all of which reflect our district’s multifaceted efforts to support the high-quality development of the printing and dyeing industry. In recent years, Keqiao has adhered to the concept of “industry-talent integration and mutual empowerment,” focusing on the transformation and upgrading of the textile printing and dyeing industry chain and the innovative development needs of enterprises. By highlighting the construction of the Printing and Dyeing Industry Engineer Collaborative Innovation Center and upgrading the “Zhejiang Engineers” industry-talent empowerment platform, Keqiao has created a collaborative innovation ecosystem that integrates the talent chain, industry chain, and innovation chain. The results in professional talent team building are remarkable, and a new path of integrated industry-talent development has been forged.

Collaborating with Yongtong Printing for information technology upgrades; participating in the dyeing wastewater treatment project of Meisheng New Materials; and providing technical support to Ruisheng New Materials, Xianggu Textiles, and Oulisi Composites... all these efforts are inseparable from the contributions of Wei Qianyang, a full-time (shared) engineer hired by the Keqiao Printing and Dyeing Industry Engineer Collaborative Innovation Center and Deputy Director of the Keqiao Textile Industry Innovation Research Institute of Xi’an Polytechnic University. With his professional theoretical knowledge and extensive practical experience, he has resolved numerous operational pain points for enterprises, promoting their high-quality development through energy conservation, process improvement, and digital empowerment.

Talent is the primary resource. This year, the Keqiao Printing and Dyeing Industry Engineer Collaborative Innovation Center has focused on the construction of the “three teams,” using the “engineer” team building as the main thread to deepen platform capacity enhancement and efficiently integrate talent resources. It aims to create a training camp, incubator, and gathering place for industrial engineers. So far, 10 full-time (shared) engineers for the textile printing and dyeing industry chain, 124 engineers rated three stars and above, and 182 independently reviewed middle-level engineers in dyeing and finishing have been selected and appointed... A high-quality, professional, and capable industrial talent team is continuously being nurtured and strengthened, thereby feeding back into the high-quality development of enterprises.

With the implementation of new-type industrialization and the development of new-quality productive forces, strengthening the construction of high-level innovative talents and entrepreneur teams is imperative. To this end, the center continues to upgrade the digital integrated interactive service platform—“Zhejiang Engineers,” creating a new model of resource sharing, collaborative innovation, and industry-talent integration, ensuring that the talent team truly has a “field of action.” As one of the first batch of outstanding provincial major applications in the provincial digital economy system, the application has so far attracted more than 75,000 engineers from the entire industry chain and 1,230 enterprises, including 69 leading experts, with a monthly average activity of over 300,000 and a peak monthly activity of over 1.5 million. The relevant practices were also selected as the best case of national talent work innovation in 2023 (the 6th session).
