On May 28, 2018, under the guidance of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, the Ministry of Commerce, and the China National Textile and Apparel Council, hosted by China Textile Information Center and the German International Cooperation Agency, organized by the Social Responsibility Office of China National Textile and Apparel Council, China Oriental The "Asian Sustainable Development and Regional Cooperation Shengze Summit and Asian Textile and Apparel Industry Sustainable Production Dialogue" co-organized by the silk market was held in Shengze, Jiangsu, the silk capital. Mr. Chen Dapeng, Vice President of China National Textile and Apparel Council, believes that Asian regional trade and investment are reshaping the global value chain. Highlight 2: Cultural Diversity and Regional Cooperation in Asian Textile and Apparel Industry
At present, the status quo of regional trade and investment in Asia is reshaping the global value chain. Intra-regional trade in Asia and the internationalization of Asian multinational companies have provided a new impetus for the reshaping of the global value chain. Representatives of industry organizations from six countries discussed how to carry out cross-cultural management in Asian regional supply chains to help companies properly deal with different laws, regulations and sustainability standards in different countries.

Highlight 6: Three-year Action Plan for Overseas Sustainable Development of China's Textile and Apparel Industry under the "Belt and Road" Initiative (2018-2020)
Ms. Yan Yan, Director of the Social Responsibility Office of China National Textile and Apparel Council, on behalf of the Social Responsibility Office of China National Textile and Apparel Council, issued a statement aimed at helping Chinese-funded enterprises "going out" to promote economic and social development along the "Belt and Road" with responsible business behavior "Three-Year Action Plan for Overseas Sustainable Development of China's Textile and Apparel Industry (2018-2020)" for environmental sustainable development.
