At the industry level, "green development and responsible transformation" are essential. As a globalized livelihood industry, China's textile industry has always been an important participant in Chinese path to modernization and an important practitioner of social responsibility and sustainable development. He stated that currently, the world has entered a new period of turbulence and transformation, with the economy in a downturn, geopolitical conflicts, and resource and environmental constraints increasing the uncertainty and vulnerability of future development. Promoting green development and responsible transformation is an inherent requirement to withstand environmental pressure and achieve sustainable development, as well as an inevitable choice to adapt to global changes and enhance human well-being. To this end, he proposed four expectations for the development of the textile and clothing industry: continuously enhancing the balance and inclusiveness of the industry, continuously enhancing the influence and shaping power of the industry, continuously enhancing the sense of security and acquisition of the industry, and continuously enhancing the leading and proactive power of the industry.

Cao Xuejun, a first level inspector of the Consumer Products Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, delivered an online speech. In recent years, the international industrial landscape has undergone profound changes. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has actively supported the green transformation and upgrading of the textile and clothing industry, introduced relevant policies and measures, accelerated the high-end, digital, and green transformation of the industry, boosted confidence in industry development, and promoted high-quality development. Lead and encourage the establishment of green factories and green supply chains for enterprises, and assist in the green development and responsible transformation of the textile and clothing industry in the three dimensions of "increasing varieties," "improving quality," and "creating brands." Encourage enterprises to focus on green and low-carbon key technologies around the goal of "dual carbon," implement the concept of green and low-carbon development in all stages, processes, and fields of production and operation, and reshape the new advantages of the development of the textile and clothing industry. Next, the Consumer Products Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will implement relevant policy plans, continue to promote collaborative innovation in the industrial chain, accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the industry towards high-end, digital, and green development, and continue to consolidate and enhance the competitive advantage of China's textile and clothing industry.

Humen Town will conscientiously implement the major deployment requirements of the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China on "promoting green development and promoting harmonious coexistence between humans and nature." In accordance with the industry development direction of "technology, fashion, and green," we will work together with the China Textile Industry Federation to build a "world-class textile and clothing industry cluster leading area," organically combine green transformation with digital transformation, and guide enterprises to build smart factories, build a full industry chain ecosystem, further enhance the green competitiveness of the Humen industry, and strive to make Humen practices in the green development and fair transformation of the textile and clothing industry.
