On July 28th, the 15th China Corporate Social Responsibility Annual Conference, hosted by Southern Weekend, was held in Guangzhou. This year's annual meeting has established the "China Corporate Social Responsibility 20-Year Special Contribution Award" to recognize the outstanding contributions of enterprises, institutions, and projects in the development process of corporate social responsibility in China. It recognizes enterprises that have long carried out good social responsibility practices, institutions that have played a leading role in promoting social responsibility, and practices that have achieved significant social responsibility results. The Office for Social Responsibility of CNTAC was awarded this honor.
 
As the first national level social responsibility permanent institution in China, the Office for Social Responsibility of CNTAC has adhered to the industry positioning of "technology, green, and fashion" since its establishment in 2005, aiming to achieve the goal of "enhancing enterprise competitiveness, jointly building a harmonious society, and leading the sustainable development of the industry." The CSC9000T textile and clothing enterprise social responsibility management system is used as a public service platform to enhance corporate social responsibility management and sustainable development capabilities, long term deep cultivation of social responsibility and sustainable development within and outside the industry. In the past 20 years, industry social responsibility work has focused on providing customized services covering human-centered responsibility, environmental responsibility, market responsibility, overseas investment, and supply chain compliance for industry enterprises, industrial clusters, and parks; assisting all parties to carry out social responsibility information disclosure and integrity construction; popularize and promote the concept of green development and the sustainable innovation system of the industry; and maintaining long-term communication and cooperation with various international organizations, standard agencies/initiatives, non-governmental organizations, and international brands.
 
At this annual meeting, Dr. Liang Xiaohui, the Chief Researcher of the Office for Social Responsibility of CNTAC, was also invited to give a keynote speech entitled "Trends and Challenges of Supply Chain Responsibility," pointing out that under the tremendous changes in various external conditions, Chinese enterprises particularly need to cultivate their internal skills and make various substantive issues of the supply chain a daily compulsory course. Only then can this be achieved; only then can we truly respond to the fluctuations in the global supply chain through our own strong strength.
