On September 7, with the coordination and support of the Office for Social Responsibility of CNTAC, representatives from various regions and countries of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) visited the Aimer Fashion Factory located in Shunyi District, Beijing, for exchange and discussion. Nearly 20 representatives from the UNICEF Geneva office, the East Asia and Pacific regional office, country offices in Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, Mongolia, and other countries, as well as the UNICEF China office, participated in this visit. Dr. Liang Xiaohui, Chief Researcher of the Office for Social Responsibility of CNTAC, and others accompanied the visit.

Ms. Guan Chunhong, the General Manager of Aimer Fashion Factory, led the visitors to visit various production and cultural facilities in the factory, including Aimer Bookstore, Aimer Museum, Aimer Workshop, Maternal and Child Room, Fully Automatic Cutting Workshop, and Vertical Production Workshop. She provided a detailed introduction from the dimensions of product manufacturing, technological research and development, logistics distribution, corporate culture development, and the application and inheritance of traditional culture, enabling UNICEF visitors to have a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of China's textile and clothing industry and traditional culture such as Suzhou embroidery.

After the on-site visit, members of the United Nations Children's Fund, representatives of the Office for Social Responsibility of CNTAC, Ms. Xiao Yawen, Chairman of the Shunyi District Women's Federation, and representatives of the management of the Aimer Fashion Factory had in-depth exchanges and discussions on topics related to employee care, gender equality, women's empowerment, and child rights protection.

Ms. Guan Chunhong, General Manager of Aimer Fashion Factory, first introduced Aimer's many efforts in employee care, parent-child relationships, employee life, corporate welfare, employee rights, and environmental protection. Ms. Xiao Yawen, Chairman of Shunyi District Women's Federation, introduced the situation of promoting women, children, and family work in Shunyi District, pointing out that the Shunyi Women's Federation and trade union organizations have fully covered more than 430 villages and towns and 1.2 million permanent residents in Shunyi District, and are supporting enterprises in Shunyi District to implement more family-friendly policies and actions through training, legal services, and multi-party exchanges.

Ms. Carlotta Barcaro, Senior Advisor of the United Nations Children's Fund Geneva Office, expressed gratitude on behalf of UNICEF for the warm reception of Aimer and highly appreciated the advanced and efficient management, good corporate culture, and emphasis on social responsibility and family friendliness of Aimer Fashion Factory. She hopes to cooperate with stakeholders in different fields, including a wider range of Chinese textile and clothing enterprises, to promote family-friendly policies, better protect the rights and interests of women and children, and promote social justice and harmonious development. Subsequently, other visiting members had in-depth discussions with company representatives on promoting the Aimou experience, talent recruitment, responsibility management of subcontracting and outsourcing factories, corporate culture, and employee productivity.

In November 2022, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the release of the "Children's Rights and Business Principles," the Office for Social Responsibility of CNTAC established cooperation with partners such as the United Nations Children's Fund to launch the "Family Friendly Factories (FFF)" project officially. Aimer actively participates in it as a representative of excellent Chinese brands.. With the support and guidance of the China Textile Federation and the United Nations Children's Fund, we are raising awareness and capabilities, improving policies and systems, and striving to become one of the industrys first "family-friendly enterprises" in the industry through practical actions.
